1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.globalfreightindex.com ("Global Freight Index", "the Platform"), owned and operated by I-Soft Solutions, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, India 400703 ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, registering an account, or posting any listing, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Registration

The Platform is intended for use by businesses and business representatives in the freight forwarding, shipping, and logistics industry. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to act on behalf of the company you represent. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity under your account.

3. Description of Service

Global Freight Index is an online directory and marketplace that allows freight forwarders, shipping companies, and related businesses to list their company profile, post and respond to freight quote requests and agent requests, and be discovered by other businesses. Guests may also submit freight quote requests, agent requests, enquiries, and reviews, subject to email verification.

4. Membership Plans & Fees

We offer Free and paid membership plans (Premium and Premium Featured), each with different features and directory visibility as described on our registration page at the time of sign-up. Paid membership fees are billed as stated at checkout. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. See our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent company information, freight quotes, agent requests, or reviews;
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defraud, or mislead another user;
  • Attempt to bypass any verification, moderation, or security control on the Platform;
  • Scrape, copy, or republish Platform content or listings without our prior written consent;
  • Upload any content that infringes another party's intellectual property or other rights.

6. Listings, Quotes & Reviews

Company listings, freight quotes, and agent requests submitted by members and guests are reviewed and, in the case of guest submissions and reviews, subject to email verification before being made visible. We reserve the right to moderate, edit, reject, or remove any listing, quote, request, or review that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, is fraudulent, or is otherwise inappropriate, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

7. Marketplace Disclaimer

Global Freight Index is a directory and marketplace platform only. We are not a party to, and do not guarantee, any agreement, shipment, quote, service, or transaction arranged between users of the Platform. We do not verify the accuracy of every claim made in a company profile, quote response, or review, and we are not responsible for the conduct, reliability, or performance of any company listed on or using the Platform. Any business arrangement you enter into with another user is solely between you and that user, at your own risk.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logo, and underlying software, is owned by I-Soft Solutions and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g., your company profile, logo, and listings), but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I-Soft Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of profit, or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Platform and its users. You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
